If you regurgitate easily on fawning celebrity journalism, you’ll want to look away from this posting.
Still here? Unfortunately, so is Entertainment Tonight:
With Valentine’s Day come and gone, the ever-inventive RACHAEL RAY is literally cooking up a way to keep the romance alive—and shares her secrets with OPRAH!
“Rachael says she has the best recipe for women who want to spice up their love lives,” Oprah says. “It’s her ‘You Won’t Be Single For Long Vodka Cream Pasta.’”
The Food Network staple makes a fun appearance on Tuesday’s “Oprah Winfrey Show” and says the recipe is to die for. Oprah can’t wait to see if she’s right.
“Well let’s just send this out to the world and see what happens,” Oprah tells her. “Why that name?”
Rachael says it’s her fans that inspired the name. “Well there’s a lot of vodka cream sauces out there and I had to rename this ‘You Won’t Be Single For Long’ because so many girls wrote me letters about hooking a fella using this recipe!”
After stirring up the noodles and sauce, Rachael reveals a warning to all those thinking about making the pasta themselves. “You have to be careful,” she says. “Do not make this for someone on your first date unless you’re sure about them—because once you make this for them you can’t get rid of them!”
After all the build-up, Oprah is ready to taste it herself. “Okay I’m going to try this,” she says as she proceeds to take a bite. “Mmmmmmmm! I love you!” It’s clear the dish has Oprah’s stamp of approval!
So many capital letters and exclamations points! So little substance.
I’m going to DVR the show. I’ll be dissecting it promptly.
